We had a unique time at 24/7 Church on Sunday. Last week, our mixing board blew on the main channels and we will not get our new one until a couple of weeks so we borrowed a board. Come to find out, on Sunday morning, we didn’t have all the right cords so we had to use a couple amps and jimmy rig our way into worship.
However, it turned out to be one of our best times in worship. God was in our midst. People were singing louder than ever before and lifting up the name of Jesus.
Here was our set list:
Blessed be your name – Matt Redman
The Earth is Yours – Gungor
Your Name – Paul Baloche
Came to my rescue – Hillsong
Facedown – Matt Redman*
We had a great time wrapping up our love & marriage series. I will try and post some notes from the message in the coming days.
I, unfortunately, will not be at 24/7 this week but we will have Tommy leading us with two guest worship leaders and great friends of mine joining us (Chris Garren & Michele Martino).
*This is probably my favorite worship song at the moment and I have been teaching it to 24/7 so we did the 311 method (from Tim Hughes) – do a song 3 weeks in a row, then 1 week off, then 1 week on to teach it and decide if we will keep it in our repertoire.
