5.1.11 set list

I can’t believe its already May.
24/7 is still in our The Life You’ve Always Wanted series and it was another great week.  Tim truly did a great job teaching on the gifts of the spirit.  Very informative and very challenging (which is odd for such a tough subject).  I honestly thought it was going to be similar to a seminary class but I took some great notes and felt challenged to explore more about who God has called me to be.  A bunch of people came up for prayer in order to find out more about their unique spiritual gifts as well as how to live out their lives fully for God.

If you have missed past messages, check them out here.

Here was our set list yesterday:

For who you are – Hillsong
Here for you – Chris Tomlin
Take all of me – Hillsong United
Amazing Grace (my chains are gone) – Chris Tomlin

Facedown – Matt Redman

This was a very great day for our church.  We are continuing to see more and more people give their lives to Christ either through renewing relationships or through beginning new journeys toward the heart of God.

We also introduced a new song this week (Here for you by Chris Tomlin found here) and the people truly responded.  I actually took a few moments to share that God inhabits the praises of His people.  A lyric in the Tomlin song says it really well, “Let our praise be your welcome”.  I love that.

God wants to draw near and when He is praised from a sincere heart, He moves forward even quicker.  I believe that this is a great song for the Church universal to sing and teach throughout our congregations.

What songs did your church do this week?
